- EUR 30,000 emergency aid
- Additional donation programmes of Linde businesses in the region Asia-Pacific and the Americas
Munich, 5 May 2015 – The technology company The Linde Group is supporting disaster relief after the devastating earthquake in Nepal on 25 April with EUR 30,000 emergency aid. The donation will be given to the organisations “Red Cross” and “Save the Children”, the company announced today.
Furthermore Linde’s Regional Business Units in the region Asia-Pacific and the Americas are planning their own donation campaigns as well. Thereby every Linde employee’s donation will be doubled by the regional group company. These actions will be initiated in the following days.
“We express our deepest condolences to all those affected by this catastrophic earthquake," said Sanjiv Lamba, Member of the Executive Board of Linde AG and responsible for the business in region Asia-Pacific. "The people of Nepal need urgent and immediate support to alleviate the suffering of those affected. We hope that our donation contributes to that in a small way.”
